Copywriter

Key Roles & Responsibilities include but are not limited to….

  • Product Copy Development for marketing materials, websites, social media, etc
  • Copy for Ad Campaign development, including print and digital

To qualify for this position, your background must include:

  • BA in English strongly preferred, with experience/interest in the Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry)
  • Strong writing and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and research skills with a high degree of professionalism

Project Manager

Responsible for managing the flow of work to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. Work closely with members of the account management and creative teams to ensure that workflows efficiently through the agency from the initial project brief to the point where it is released for production.

· Scheduling: Scheduling is a critical part of the traffic manager’s role. Project managers draw up schedules to ensure that advertisement production progresses efficiently through its different stages and completes on time. They issue schedules to each member of the agency team working on a campaign and provide key dates for clients to review and approve work
· Coordination: Coordinate the work of many different people inside and outside the agency. Discuss the scope of work, schedules, and budgets with the account management team to prepare a framework for planning workflow. Assess the production requirements, identify and work with external service providers, such as illustrators, photographers, video production companies and printers, who will be providing services for the project at hand
· Control: To help control workflow, use project management software. Monitor the progress of the project through different departments and external suppliers, and adjust schedules to deal with any delays or problems. Arrange regular projects status meetings to review progress and re-allocate resources to keep project development on schedule
· Administration: Set up administrative systems to help track time, cost and progress on each project. Allocate separate job numbers to each project and ask everyone working on the project to use the job number when they record their time or costs. Analyze the time sheets completed by team members. Issue purchase orders to external suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or communications
  • 2+ years experience in pharmaceutical advertising 
  • Proven ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proactive team player with a strong work ethic
  • Excels under pressure in fast-paced environment, reacting quickly and intelligently
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

–1:1 training around marketing fundamentals, brand strategy, and SOUND process in addition to 1:1s with SOUNDers from the creative and account teams

–Sitting in on internal meetings, working sessions, brainstorming sessions, pitch/workshop rehearsals, concept presentations etc.

Summer Medical Intern

SOUND Healthcare Communications located in Bridgewater, NJ, is offering a paid 10-week summer internship program. A nominee for Med Ad News Category III Agency of the Year and recognized as an MM&M top 100 Agency, SOUND Healthcare Communications is a full-service, independent, healthcare advertising agency. We provide a suite of strategic, creative, and multichannel tactical services to help our clients successfully market their brands.

We are looking for one summer intern to fulfill a position within the medical department.

Ideal candidates should be pursuing studies in the Pharmacy program, preferably a P2 or P3 PharmD student.

Interns will spend 40% of their time learning marketing fundamentals and how to build a brand from strategy to creative to execution, in addition to attending internal meetings and working sessions; and 60% supporting staff with ongoing brand business.
