VP/ Associate Creative Director – Copy

Successful candidate will have a proven track record of creative ability, successful client contact experience, the ability to work collaboratively with account management, excellent presentation skills, and agency Pharma experience.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Write, proof and edit a broad range of communication/marketing materials utilizing a keen eye for detail and quality of content, as well as an understanding the visual expression of the ideas
  • Collaborate with team members to create novel, unique work in a variety of media for a range of audiences for a variety of channels and platforms
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned brands, indications, therapeutic categories, and overall marketplace and is responsible for being current with client brands and their competition
  • Build client relationships by participating in market research, presenting creative internally and externally, and contribute to strategic and tactical development
  • Help drive and improve the creative process at the agency, including leading agency and creative team initiatives as appropriate
  • Contribute to new business opportunities as required

Some required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experience
  • 3+ years of supervising experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
  • Thorough knowledge of FDA requirements with respect to pharmaceutical advertising
  • Ability to travel as required

Group Copy Supervisor

Healthcare advertising agency is seeking a Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) who will be responsible for daily operations of assigned brands – brainstorming ideas, developing concepts and specific messaging, while overseeing junior members of the copy team. The GCS works closely with creative and account teams, dedicated to creating work aligned with client’s marketing strategies and objectives, within specified deadlines. The GCS must possess stellar conceptual and copywriting skills, knowledge of pharmaceutical requirements/terminology, along with the ability to present ideas and represent the agency.

Responsibilities

Successful candidate will have agency and marketing experience preferably in pharma (though not required), excellent time-management skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality, as well as stellar verbal and written communication skills.

  • Driving tactical projects through agency processes and will ensure projects work through appropriate channels and meet requirements/deadlines by working closely with internal teams.
  • Responsible for day-to-day client contact, developing strong and effective working relationships with clients and account teams
  • Support project managers and strategic planners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or communications
  • 2+ years in pharma advertising or related industry experience
  • Solid understanding of trafficking projects at an agency
  • Proven ability to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
  • Proactive team player with a strong work ethic
  • Excels under pressure in fast-paced environment, reacting quickly and intelligently

Studio/Production Artist

Successful candidate will possess a mix of both creative and technical skills, as well as strong typographic and layout skills. Candidate will have a strict attention to detail, be highly organized, and have the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be an excellent communicator and inter-departmental collaborator and ensure that deadlines are met with diplomacy and urgency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with art directors, designers and developers
  • Maintaining and adhering to branding guidelines
  • Providing image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
  • Preparing final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of media.
  • Packaging and preflight files for release to printers or media partners
  • Troubleshooting problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer
  • Comping & Boarding

Mandatory software skill sets include:

  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Acrobat (interactive PDFs)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Word

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in design or other related positions is preferred, however, experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print production and design, may suffice in the absence of a degree.
  • Knowledge of both print and digital production, including layer comps, is a must. Experience with digital content such as websites, social media, email, etc.
